there is a distinct area for AI to be applicated- and that's automation. of the ACTUALLY repetitive stuff. like how its used in CGI to help automate some of those processes- or a good parallel here would be the point of the paint bucket tool, yes, doing art digitally gives great time skips and advantages, but it also doesn't just do the art for you. Another point I keep seeing is photography? how the camera is taking the picture for you? and to that I often reply that a photographer can think of dozens of aspects they could change or decided on picking to get a desired effect/look- which you cant do with AI. Photography and Digital drawing are both arts, AI is theft.
