AI art has its place. As a solo creator, wanting to do something like make a whole comic book, with no budget , would be very time consuming to draw everything by hand. (I dont even have a drawing tablet) Now with AI Image generation you can train AI on your own art, let it spit out a bunch of scenes, use them in your background and spend more time on the main characters of your comic book. If used correctly I really believe AI can improve everybody's lives. Make projects available for smaller creators to do that usually would take a whole team to do. But stealing is always wrong. The same way that it would be wrong to copy and paste another persons scenery drawings in your own art as backgrounds, or tracing other peoples characters work and posting it as your own OC. But i agree, AI should not be able to copy anyone style and create new art from that. And companies that make money of off art should not be using AI as a cheat engine to not pay some employee to produce art. AI should be a tool artists can use to enhance their own work, not a tool that people use to abuse artist.
