Remember caning. In the 60's to 80's , our parents caned us when we were naughty. Even teachers caned us (on the palms). That happens in all Asia society. I still remember my principal caned a student on the buttocks in front of the school; assembly when this student tried to hurt another student by putting thumbtacks on the chair. We treat this as punishment that has to be dealt publicly to discipline the children. Yet when it comes to western media , wow it become child abuse. I was caned so many times, yet has never blamed anyone except my mischief. Did Jackie Chan blame his master for whacking him? The west totally has different mentality. Try to act compassionate, especially USA which had a bad history of genocide and slavery. Look at the present situation. Every single wk, at least one major killing from gun misuse. Drug abuse is rampant. I call these real human abuse. You can't solve your own problem , yet are meddling other's business . What a hypocrite! Esp the Fourth Estate.
