No one talks about how all of this affects High School grads this year. These kids have suffered through Covid quarantine, masks, no school and more. They lost something in the process of social development and lack social skills. So that human connection skill that AI does not have, may allude them - ever hear of the Gen Z stare? Do they go to college and spend hundreds of thousands for a career that may no longer exists? Trade school could be a great option to have a job that AI can't do, but our education system has been designed to prepare Students for College leaving them unfamiliar with trades like electrician. These new High School grads have no skills and have not been prepared for life. How do they prepare for a career?
