as a disabled artist i think its stupid and ignorant for able-bodied and minded ai users to say its for disabled people. in my eyes its very similar to the "think about the children" logic so many people like to use for other issues. you shouldn't be using someone else's disability to validate unethical use of technology. i have a long list of physical and mental disabilities and a lot of them effect my hand and hand-eye coordination , vision, and ability to stay mentally present(dissociation) and i can still do art of many kinds because art has always been accsessable. there is so much adaptive equipment as well! granted not as much as there should be in my opinion but it still exists nonetheless. if we are talking about low-income accsesablity as well, many people draw on printer paper, i used crayola water colors when i sold my work. when i was hospitalized last month i used cheap crayons, number 2 pencils, and 8 dollar paint markers and it was still art. you don't need expensive art supplies to start or even maintain art, you can make art from anything as a human and that's beautiful and should be embraced more these days than ever. I've never owned very expensive art supplies because for the most part I've always bought my own and I've still been able to create. that's just my expirance and opinion as someone who has created art since a toddler and been disabled my whole life. and like someone else mentioned its kind of a blatent insult to imply disabled artists art is less valuable or good somehow than an able bodied person.
