There is nothing unethical about AI art. It doesn't copy individual people. It is trained by looking at hundreds of thousands of images to learn what things are and what they look like. If you asked an AI to draw a human you won't find parts of some persons image. It's no more unethical than when a person learns how to draw and then draw on their own. Also it's fine that it costs money because its not free to train or run an AI. "Real" artist also look at reference images when they draw... I don't see anyone shouting plagiarism there 🤷
