If their AI hosting service shuts down, AI "artists" can't make shit. Meanwhile, if Clipstudio stops working, I can still draw in Affinity Photo, Krita, Gimp, etc., and my art would look just as good. And if I lose all electricity, I can still draw on paper.
They're not artists. They're clients. They "commission" the AI model to generate an image for them. The only skill one can develop is learning how to ask the AI to generate what they want. It's a skill, in the same way that a client being able to clearly communicate to an artist is a skill. But they're not artists. They're thieves who hire thieves.
