I currently use AI committees in my AI stack that I use for my DTS Method. Also,, it is not entirely accurate that "no one"" predicted AI as we have it with chat bots now. Terminator, KITT from Kniight Rider, and the Transformers are clear examples of predictions just as cell phones were predicted by Star Trek.
