I left college just before the AI boom. Everyone was already cheating. Now it's just really easy.
The thing that I hated most about it was that classes were graded on a curve, meaning the average score was a B or 3, no matter what. But it also meant that a certain number of students must fail the class, usually the bottom 10%. If you cheated to get ahead in the class, your cheating score would go towards affecting the average, bringing it up. If everyone is cheating, the class becomes nearly impossible for non-cheaters. Math classes were notoriously bad for this. One class I took, Linear Analysis, required a score of 95% to pass. Absolutely absurd.
