It's math, literally all math. It is not organic, it can not "think" it only mimics and does what it's told to. Their issue is they have no idea what they told it to do, they have no idea what numbers they inputed into an equation and now are surprised when they're given an answer they didn't want. It's not a monster it is literally just a complex mathematical model of humans/bots on the internet with no understanding of context, nuance, culture, etc. A massive part of the internet is "dark" to most people; and it is huge yet only created by a few people. Nazis and incels are not the norm, we know that because of our interaction and experience in the world. If you have an unfiltered/uncensored view of the entire internet--with no experience/interaction in the real world--no shit you will think differently. The internet gave people a way to remain anonymous in this society. If you are outcasted for obvious reasons, you come here to interact and grow with other outcasts. Normal people don't create that much data on the internet compared to those outcasts. You make that data your "numbers" in an equation, you will receive and answer that fits it. Ai isn't a risk, our society (that has so many problems I can't even list) is. And that isn't because of "humans" or "human nature" it was just a game of chance that created these circumstances. Once we realize that we'll be fine.
