That sounds great in theory but not in practice. If AI robots put together cars, then the person who got replaced should NOT be kept on as an employee. That is why there are no more horse cart deliveries. Evolution requires change. New jobs are created with every advance. Universal income is needed if automation replaces too many unskilled labor jobs.
