This is NOT happening because of AI. Too many people conflate automation with AI. Additionally, a shift to blue collar jobs was inevitable with the retirement of baby boomers, the crazy expense of college and reshoring. AI is being pushed under cost, we will see how valuable it is when the true bill comes due.
