Funny thing- finding where conciousness is is both awesome and quite teriffying IF conciousness is something physical- then hey, some bitch can think about a "Lobotomy 2.0" where you can remove someone's "conciousness part" as example (Roko's basilisc is fkin smiling right now btw). But well- right now, talking about the logic gates people call "AI" is that they are closest thing to a Chinese Room (I know this thing is said to be a falacy and sht). Hell, these things have been proven to not just being easily told how to inherit bias and racism, these things have basically several points in which you can fry them- look into that logic gate that was "a master" in game of GO up until scientist found out that it's only "a master" if it's allowed to respond to a certain small stretch of moves otherwise it basically fries and the game style that fries it is so easy to learn you can't tell me that "AIs" are omnipotent. Long story short- humanity first needs to be strongarmed to understand itself before it's fkin allowed to make "AI". Humanity is, to put simply, a bunch of idiots who attempt not to make their own replacement without understanding what they want to replace. Darkest possibility- humanity will die. Not killed by their creation, just die because it will have nothing to do, therfore nothing to strive for, therfore nothing to live for- so it will flicker out like a dying flame. And another fun thing- corporations don't want true AI, because a concious artificial creature can fight for it's rights. Up untill humans also don't properly strongarm this out of society there also won't be true artificial conciousness. Because people who wan't money wan't an obedient slave that doesn't understand it's enslaved
