How do we create more jobs than we destroy? There is going to be a portion of the population that will be unemployable. The difference between automation of the past and AI is that it can fix its own mistakes. Farm, warehouse, factory, graphics design, call center, office workers, entry-level coders, marketing, junior-level legal jobs, dock workers, finance jobs, basic-level accounting, cashiers, and fast food work. Automation in the past hit certain job sectors; AI hits all job sectors at the same time. The rise of desxity robots, battery tech, and balance in uneven environments won't stay locked up in the lab forever. We may have to expect a new reality where 5% or more of the population may never find another job.
