Of course AI and technology is bias it's biased generally towards white men. That's who writes the programs; when they write the programs they don't intentionally make it biased but often they're the test subjects used in testing out the technology so it works for them, but if they don't have a diverse group of people to test from or use has the initial input data it's biased by default. This is why you also see gender bias too because they're not a lot of women programmers out there. Things aren't necessarily done on purpose but they are there.
