Sir Roger Penrose is completely right, and those that are developing AI also know that the main problem is that it cannot differentiate between instruction and data, but people buy into the hype, just as the cloud is portrayed rather than the truth that the data is sitting on a corporation’s server. AI is a data harvester and nothing else, and people don’t like having their bubbles burst, because they enjoy the brain candy old to them.
