Increasingly, I see UBI as a solution. There is so much collective knowledge that AI has absorbed that adds so much value to everything we do that we should all reap the rewards of our collective knowledge. Sometimes you can track specifics of where the knowledge comes from, with the image generators an artist should get a cut if their work is used, but for something like coding, there’s never been a reason to track who or where the information came from, but we can all benefit. We’re honest about the fact that it is useful to all of us if we all benefit.
