I wish this had explained the economics of why chemical/bio weapons were banned, then spelled out the relation to AI. You want highly lethal weapons to be expensive so that proliferation can be controlled. AI is expensive to develope but once made it will be incredibly cheap to use. World leaders need to realize their very lives are threatened by AI when a $1000 completely autonomous drone can be used to assassinate any world leader who ventures outdoors.
