The problem I have with AI artists is gatekeeping art from the humans. With AI around, there's no more incentive for young people to draw themselves if AI can reflect their vision better than their wobbly skills. But there is the catch: ai doesnt reflect your vision, it does whatever it wants to do. The only way to create something really revolutionary and create a new artstyle is only to do it yourself.
With ai, no more young artists will be produced. No creative outlet for menral health. Change in mentality: no point in perseverance and hard work, if you can pay your monthly subscription for the skill. Nobody will learn, nobody will draw, and the only art we'll have will be boring, repetitive kitsch.
Before, you could've picked up the pencil in your shit hole, and hone your skill to get out of the gutter; now, humanity is obsolete, and rich kids with big pockets pay for ai subscriptions to call themselves "artists"
