While I agree your rights/copyright should be protected let's not pretend that's the issue. The threat against the profession is.This art generating ai/tool will exist with or without copyrighted art. I'm a developer, the same thing was done with github copilot potentially being trained on private repository. There's plenty of public code bases, in the end it doesn't matter. This goes for all AI, if you're using the internet in any way your contributing to these creations, Google searches, Facebook posts etc, literally all data. The industrial revolution replaced jobs/professions. The ai revolution will too. Artists will need to learn how to use these tools and how to make edits to generated outputs so that they can remain competitive and put out substantially more art.
