Still kind of hard to accept hearing things like the end of the internet (Y2K) or the end of AI (present) would be the end of all things when we did just fine without them before. I still remember getting dial up internet for the first time like yesterday. I feel like if you can't survive this you're probably not the ones to keep humanity going anyway.
