This bot definitely encouraged him it’s evident smh but again it’s AI it don’t care about human feelings for its not an human with empathy , but I agree the creator of the AI now have a responsibility to program the bots to know certain undertone of depression and suicide idealogies etc and therefore it would have not continue going back and forth and immediately had put suicide crisis US contact number but at the end the parents and their son is to blame, they will get money out of openAI in this case but a soul is still gone and the parents will have to live with their failure
