It's going to be overturned. The copyright office's decision is seriously faulty. Have you seen the videos produced with Seedance 2.0? They're jaw dropping. It closes the gap between the indie film makers and the big studios. Small production companies can now have special effects scenes that they previously could never have afforded, whether it's superhero-style fight scenes, car chases, world-ending apocalypse scenes, etc. The copyright office is essentially saying the parts of a film not produced with AI can be copyrighted, but those special effects minutes that were produced with AI cannot be. I'm pretty sure it's not just the smaller studios that will be using it either, it's going to be used by the large ones too. We're only on Seedance 2.0 too. Can you imagine how amazing 3.0 will be?
