What I think is being missed here is what is really driving AI. It’s an arms race at its core. It’s the Military and Intelligence Agencies who are driving this development race! Plain and simple. Who ever has the most functional and most powerful AI wins. It’s the slippery slope factor the understanding that so long as AI can be influenced or utilized for nefarious purposes it will. Everything else discussed are merely byproducts of this inevitable chain of reactions
