Why did elon then tried to merge the lumber company with Tesla & wanted to own OpenAI, left the company when it didn't happen. Also I agree OpenAI is not fully open source but still alot more open compared to alot of American competition including Grok. Atleast their frontend like Codex is open source unlike Anthropic's claude code. And don't even get me started on openness of Grok. If you really wanted an Open Source Model like Kimi K2 you would have made Grok an open source model. Hypocrite Elon.
