Your US copyright law differs to that of other countries. So in some countries it may be permissible to copyright AI works under the name of the "creator". But even in those countries there is the issue of whether the work incorporates works or portions of works that are already copyright. Which is a universal issue. I think, as you pointed out in a previous video, the AI artist must be aware that they themselves can be sued or pursued if their output is deemed to infringe the rights of original artists and authors.
