I don’t think ai will replace all jobs. As ai takes over more and more in the jobs it excels at being so intelligent and almost indistinguishable from what it has absorbed, I believe there will be an even stronger desire for human contact, for authenticity and realness which only humans can provide. Being a musician and an artist will still be a valuable profession. Bring in the holistic healthcare industry, or mental health industry, a choreographer, a dance teacher.. Do you think people will not want to dance and sing any longer? To see real performances or be entertained ? Ai can already make music or films but it can’t replace human emotion. It can’t speak of experiences, suffering or joy which it never had. Whether or not the future industry in collapse will have money to pay us is obviously questionable but it has already been such an immense struggle to make money as an artist or musician in this society to begin with that perhaps in the case that there will actually be some sort of basic universal income for a brief moment prior to our inevitable extinction we will actually live to see this sort of utopia we only dreamt of as artists. A reality in which we are not forced apart from our passions in daily life to hustle in demeaning customer service or factory jobs to pay rent, but are able to spend our time making art and living for what we actually value and what we were sent here to do. Of course this may be a fantasy, but regardless, as the world goes up in flames, the artists job will never end or be eliminated whether or not we are paid, as it will always be to reflect honestly upon the times we are living in! In fact, the more this world is consumed and controlled by the greedy elite, the more this world will need people who work as artists, musicians, as healers, in all of its forms 🔥🔥🔥
