I don't know how to feel about AI art. AI is an inevitable future, so the idea that AI will take jobs from people doesn't really upset me, since it's going to take jobs from people regardless.
I understand the desire for consent before your art is used to teach the AI, but I think that as long as what the AI creates is not directly your art / a recolour of your art, and is instead something new inspired by your art, then it's not that bad? I know artists get upset about tracing and stuff like that, so clearly they have a very different perspective, but I just don't share that perspective.
