You can’t write a program that takes in another program and determines what it does. I think that’s been known since the time of Alan Turing. Therefore you can’t create software that can write a full software program that’s non trivial. AI has been pushed not because it’s great but rather because CEOs want to elevate stock prices so they can dump it and make money before the other investors understand what’s going on. That has been happening since markets first formed. But 2000 is coming again although maybe we’ll see an event where both the 2000 tech implosion and the 2008 housing disaster happen simultaneously. This time it would be much worse for one very important reason: our National Debt was under 10 trillion in 2008 but it’s pushing 40 trillion in 2026. The government won’t be able to just create and push dollars into the system since creating those dollars.now would cause massive instantaneous inflation. Hang on to your hats because this hurricane might bring down the house.
