Dystopia is here to come! I just want to add this:
I am a passionate biker and pedestrian but as I also love driving, even hundreds of kilometers from one country to another, it makes no sense at all to me to give away this pleasure to algorithms. It feels like voluntarily giving up sex for watching porn or only watching food videos instead of cooking and eating yourself.
My Utopia would be that most people live in 15-minute-cities where almost all traffic is just walking. Plus streetcars, subways and trains. And car fans use nothing but ultra lightweight solar EVs.
