It’s faster to grow a company like Amazon from scratch than it is to reorient a company like Walmart to do the same thing. Most of the people watching this video will retire before mops and brooms get replaced in most workplaces by floor cleaning robots, let alone have more humanoid coworkers than human ones. The first electronic shelf label system was put into stores in the early 1990s. This technology has continued its market penetration to include a tiny fraction of big name stores in most big cities by 2024. That tells you something about technology investment and adoption. It takes time. Lots of time.
