I agree and disagree with this. I think the main issue is people who use AI and mark it as a finished product. I use AI because i am NOT an artist. I have ideas in my head i need to be on paper or computer and I am unable to do this myself. I work with an AI for a while to make sure it gives me something around what i am looking for, but i wouldnt call this art. It is a generated image. I then give this image to artists to give me their work. I did this prior to AI and it took weeks longer to get art back and many more revisions.
AI is meant to help streamline tasks, but not meant to help do your task for you.
