I would love to give my thoughts as a ai user . I dont think art training in of itself is bad. I train art based on how i draw so i can use ai to re add new shading and lighting to retro video game assets.
Nightshade isnt effective since, ai just needs to screenshot the image, copy the clean image an bomb. The nightshade efforts went to waist.
Those who use nightshade can be sued for willing and admittion for spreading any king of virus.
By your own administration. A person could sue you for corrupted product keys and harm to there computer and products.
Using nightshade is not the gotcha you think it is. I could right now clone an ai model based on your nightshade art an not have issues.
The nightshade will save art is like saying adding dark hues to old anti piracy will stop piracy. Nightshade is just not worth it.
