It's sad to think that these sorts of things (Automation mainly) would be a fantastic way to make life better for everyone, but because society has decided that humans don't inherently deserve to live, it's instead making life largely worse in many ways.
And I mean, requiring UBI isn't a good outcome, but UBI itself is still a really good if you ask me, if only because yea, giving the common person the ability to walk out when being hugely abused by companies without the threat of death on the street.
