How about a UBI based upon the dividends earned by shares of the companies that make up the economy? Say, have companies pay a part of their income taxes as shares to a "universal dividend fund" whose proceeds are split among all people? Wouldn't this increase ownership in the corporate sphere for the average person while also providing a basic income as more employment positions are lost due to advances in automation?
