28 year driver I am 61 now ! I'm not worried for myself, it will take several more years for this to be implemented full scale. and they have only been lucky so far. my question is these greedy companies will spend so much money to not pay a driver. just think have much maintenance they will be willing to overlook as well ! and we actually do have a mechanic shortage right now , not enough qualified people to fix trucks. and these computerized and automated trucks are going to need even higher qualified mechanics ! that are going to want more pay than any driver !
