As an Admin: Maybe I'm delulu because it's my job but: There is no chance you have an AI which knows each individual System without getting trained by an IT Administrator. In the end people won't ever transfer responsibility to non humans. Humans trust Humans.
Who is going to run the Datacenter AI needs? :D Who is programming and developing AI? :D Especially because our jobs are NEEDED for AI. They are in my opinion the most safe jobs from getting replaced by AI.
But most of the poeple don't really know what IT Administrators do.
I agree with the office support. The initial: What's you problem things can easily be replaced by some AI talking with you. But the employees calling this hotline will cry when AI does not understand what you want once.
