they really have no clue what they're talking about lol, they keep comparing ai to photography or digital art but it's just not the same.
yes, photography made portrait artists redundant, but there's still so many art styles that don't replicate real life. and yes, digital art made traditional art less relevant, but you still need to know how to draw to do it digitally. ai can do everything an artist can at the click of a button. it can replicate any style, from the most realistic to the most abstract. the effect it'll have on the art world in general is so far beyond what photography and digital art did that it's almost insulting to mention them in the same breath...
like they're just bad comparisons that ignore everything else to make a point about evolving technology lol, it's terrible
