I wholeheartedly support and agree with what you're saying in this video, although I wouldn't classify an alignment tool in a graphics application as AI. It's really simple mathematics that doesn't use any of the technologies classified as AI. Basically what Word Perfect and similar applications did decades ago when aligning text, only in case of Illustrator/Inkscape/etc. it's graphics objects being moved around.
