I think we will find that gen-ai will go away because it isn't profitable is missing the point entirely. They aren't making these technologies to be profitable in that way. They are making them to be the new knowledge economy. We aren't the intended consumer of gen-ai. And the corporate developers of gen-ai have unlimited pockets. What is apple worth? Or Google? Or musk. These entities want gen-ai to automate being these entities.
