We shouldn’t be talking about replacing teachers with AI. We should be talking about what’s best for the students and I think what’s best for the students is to have a teacher who has control of his or her classroom. The reasons we have kids not knowing how to read and write in sixth grade or seniors with a 3rd grade reading level is because of the food they’re eating and drinking. They’re undisciplined and have bad behavior and the teacher has nothing to use as leverage to get them to stop goofing around or stop their bad behavior. Admin are the people who take the tax payer money, make all the decisions in policy with the kids, give themselves raises and a pat on the back for giving a kid a candy bar for giving the teacher F bombs. You actually believe AI is going to do any better? The kids aren’t going to care. We need teachers to anticipate each student’s needs because all students learn differently and George Bush’s “Leave No Child Behind” Bill isn’t working. All it’s doing is passing students who don’t deserve to pass and graduating youn people who are uneducated. I think you should check out Teacher Therapy. You’ll see the other side of the coin and the epidemic we’re facing. We will be having a shortage of teachers because of Admin and lazy and arrogant parents. AI isn’t going to be the silver bullet that we think. It’s not ready for Prime Time.
