The issue with FSD is not with Technology. It is the overselling of it. You cannot trust FSD, in the same way you let a new teen driver on the wheel. Unfortunately physical sensors are a must and adds a bit of needed redundancy.
Except for one misjudged left turn, resulting in running over a curb and a sidewall damage, FSD has done a fair job, as a L2 ADAS. It is similar to ChatGPT, except it deals with life critical vehicle control. Just some 💭
