I wish AI bros would understand, I'm not an artist bc I want to turn out technically flawless pieces one after another, I'm an artist bc if I don't make art I feel MISERABLE. I was basically on bedrest once due to tendonitis in my hand and elbow and was not allowed to do anything repetitive with my hands for two weeks. No drawing, no typing, no sewing, no fiber craft, nothing. Not having a physical creative outlet for just two weeks made my depression so much worse I almost went to my doctor and asked her to up my prozac prescription before I found out what the real problem was.
