As an Indonesian student, I can confirm that Indonesian CS program is indeed that bad or even worse. All of my friends relies on ChatGPT or AI agents to do their work. We're 3.5 years in and most of them have 3.5+ GPA.
Colleges here are shitty, there are no teachers that knows what they are doing. It's only good for farming professional relations and not educational. But then again, it depends to the student.
