If ai is able to replicate the top hitting studios of Japan then thats basically putting shit over their entire legacy and saying “Hey, your animations, your hard work, they mean nothing now. Because with a simple touch of AI i can make better animations than you can. Your passion, your dedication you put into your work? It’s meaningless now.” Of course we want to lighten the load of animators, but we can do that by not setting short deadlines and raising the pay, not by replacing these hard earned animators with AI who have already suffered enough animating the shows we want.
