AI and AI bros don't understand that one of the fundamentals of animation is the flow of movement and expressions, they just think "AI make PRETTY 3D model talking it's better"
Maybe some old janky animation showed little things like the movement of a river and the way a dress flows when a character dances in a certain way and they're still gonna value some AI generated bs because "it looks more polished". It was never about the polish, it was about conveying sh*t using a medium where you can put focus on specific frames and little movements that may go unnoticed, and you can exaggerate them or change their color and do anything basically, or how you can show maybe someone's eyes softening in a way live action can't. That's the real beauty of it, not the graphics themselves.
