Although I respect some of Mr. Roman’s ideas to a certain degree, I cannot agree with his views about God. I especially disagree with his suggestion that “we are close to discovering the technology to stop dying", haha — humans are meant to die. No matter how many scientists gather together or how fast technology advances, humanity cannot escape death. It is striking that instead of accepting mortality, making peace with it, and ensuring the salvation of their souls, people try all sorts of things to avoid death or merely to prolong life. Returning to what Mr. Roman said: the fact that a religion expresses itself somewhat differently in another part of the world does not mean all the others are false. The same goes for the preservation of biblical manuscripts — the fact that they are 3,000 years old does not automatically make their translations unreliable or untrustworthy. I’m speaking strictly about Christianity here. The Bible is the most carefully preserved and documented book in human history — not because I say so, but because historical studies, commentaries, and comparative translations all support that conclusion. It is impossible for every religion in the world to be true at the same time. Although many point to an all-powerful reality, they cannot all be accurate simultaneously. You only need to study them and compare them carefully — and I wish Mr. Roman would investigate more thoroughly. The real question is: which religion is true? Jesus Christ declares, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” He alone, among the world’s religious leaders, rose from the dead. The impact Jesus had on earth cannot be compared to anything else. Read, compare, and—above all—seek this truth sincerely in your heart.
