They are correct that artists are tyrants and blue bloods, but not necessarily because they were born that way. Most artists simply fail to understand that not everyone has the time or passion to dedicate to learning art, and AI image generation helps them out. So when they say that AI should be banned or something along those lines, they are saying "People should do it my way or the highway", thus behaving as tyrants and blue bloods
TL;DR Not everyone can/wants to learn traditional art, and artists opposing the tool that enables this exposes them as elites
