Artists take inspiration from artists all the time. If those real people don’t have to give credit to every artist they took inspiration from, then neither does AI. The fact remains that originality doesn’t exist. It’s something every type of artist knows and has known for a century. This double standard has to stop. It makes no sense to view man-made products as threats. Work harder to make your work more appealing to others. Stop being lazy.
