That clip of Miyazaki talking about feeling like we are nearing the end of times just really hits me in the feels. I've been beginning to feel that way too, not just because of AI, but also because of things like auto-tune, social media addiction, social isolation, etc. that are just so rampant now. I don't like auto-tune because like AI, it sucks the humanity out of the singer's art and makes it sound over-processed and soulless. The only valid use for it imo is as an intentional vocal effect, but even that is debatable. I just feel like something is going to crash. There's already just too much content and over-saturation even before AI, and now with AI, I feel like something will fail. Either people will end up getting dumber and stop learning art and only consume AI garbage, or I think something like a new internet might need to be made. Idk what that would look like tho. Creativity is born through adversity. Creativity is also born through limitation. To have everything at your finger tips with the touch of a button by definition will create a lack of creativity and more laziness. So if there's a way to create a new internet that can eradicate AI "art", I'm all for it. (Also I love your art style! Hopefully AI can't steal your stuff now. When I get into digital art, I'll probably end up using that program to protect my art, so thank you for getting the news of this AI poisoning software to artists who need to protect themselves!)
